Q:  What accomplishment are you most proud of?

A:  My master’s degree thesis, a rhetorical analysis of BP’s YouTube campaign following the Gulf Oil Spill (2010-2011). It was a labor of love and a cause close to my heart, environmental communication via digital media.

About Anna

Anna Duggan is a senior level media relations expert with nearly 20 years combined experience and education in journalism, marketing, public relations and marketing agency media and public relations strategy. As a former journalist, she has the newsroom background to find the story behind the brand. As a mass media and public relations scholar, she has the knowledge and ability to position messages for the greatest impact. And, with more than five years advertising/PR agency experience, Anna can meet tight deadlines and successfully juggle multiple clients and public facing campaigns. These combined skills facilitate audience identification and resonance for any given message.

Anna’s experience includes enticing audiences as an arts and entertainment reporter for the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel and KREX-TV; defining, executing and promoting B2B and B2C brands including payment processing software products, consumer health products and programs, and Downtown Denver and the Business Improvement District; and landing tier one media placements for national and local clients including wins in trade and consumer outlets such as GlobeSt., The Denver Post, CBS This Morning, The Today Show, National Public Radio, and U.S. News & World Report. And finally, as a senior director of public relations she oversaw agency media relations services, operations and public relations staff, including the management and execution of all public relation clients’ budgets, contracts and metrics and media and public relation strategy, execution and reporting.

Anna is pretty much a Colorado native; she moved to the state when she was four years old. She currently lives in Littleton with her husband and two young children. Her hobbies include camping, running, yoga, live music and binge watching Top Chef and House of Cards.
